1. 除了quiet, shy 外還有
內向型 introvert

2.孤獨 / 獨處 solitude
在所有內向詞句中，這個字最具美感，表示自願、深思，反省, 甚至具創造性。
Loneliness is the poverty of self; solitude is the richness of self. (名句引用)
3. 擅於自省 / 一日三省吾身 introspective
經常自省的人必須向內下功夫，和自己對話，所以通常內向。

4. 擅於傾聽 a good listener
這是內向者最有價值的一部份。聽完了，明白了，再出意見。

不突顯自己，刻意不搶眼，當然東、西方都有這樣的人，但是西方職場強調有功就要搶，突顯自我價值，才會成功。此字有人解釋為擅於自嘲，老中聽到美言，經常說：「沒什麼啦！」「溢美之詞」, 就是self-effacing。西方人則說「謝謝讚美」, 或I’m proud of myself.
