各種恨，仇：人生必有黑暗面，知其風險，修心避之

adversary / enemy
enemy 比adversary嚴重。defeat an adversary, but destroy an enemy. 在外交上，兩國開戰才稱對方為enemy.
The US Secretary of State repeatedly says that they see China as an adversary, not an enemy.
對立, 互相抗衡 antagonism / opposition
opposition 更強調對抗的動作，antagonism強調態度上的對立。
Iran's antagonism toward the West has a long history.
壓抑 suppression
被壓抑 oppression
這兩個字互為反義
The religious suppression of the pagans (異教徒) results in countless wars in the medieval Europe..
The historical oppression suffered by the Jews ended in the founding of Israel in 1948.
恨意難消 the engraved hatred
engraved是指鐫刻，引伸為刻在心坎上的感情
Nothing but the engraved hatred toward the tyrant could lead to such social chaos.
由愛生恨Great affection is often the cause of violent animosity .
恨之入骨 hate to the bone / hate to the core
新仇舊恨 new pains and old wounds
國仇家恨 the historical struggles, scars and pains of a country
世代之仇 the animosity passed from generation to generation
不共載天之仇 the irreconcilable (無解決之道) enmity
enmity 又是另一個有關仇恨的字，很明顯由enemy而來。enmity, animosity, antogonism這幾個字看起來很像, 意思也接近。
報仇 avenge / revenge
avenge是撥亂反正，為正義、公理而戰，有道理的報仇。revenge是有理或無理的復仇，如幫派之間的報復火拼。
The father avenged her daughter's death by hiring a private detective to track the murderer down.
"I'll get my revenge on you one day!" These are the the last words Mary said to her betrayed husband before she left home.
一筆勾消 forgive and forget
Two years later, Mary came back and said to her ex: "I'll forgive you and forget all about it, because now I live better than you do, and that's the best revenge."
和解 reconcile
自古以來，reconciliation是文學和戲劇最重要的主題。

愈合heal
